Doctoral Program at the House of Insurance

University graduates with an adequate background in mathematics, law or economics can pursue a doctorate at the House of Insurance in the fields of actuarial mathematics, insurance law and insurance economics. We provide research assistant positions with accompanying teaching or within the framework of externally funded projects.

In addition, the House of Insurance offers a dual doctoral program in cooperation with local insurance companies. The PhD students of the dual doctoral program work 50% in the industry and are at the same time employed 50% as research assistants at the House of Insurance to develop solutions to cutting-edge research challenges in the field.
